Named after David Moffat, a Colorado railroad pioneer, the Moffat Tunnel West Portal is a water tunnel and railroad that travels through north-central Colorado along the Continental Divide. You can hike, camp and ski or simply just enjoy seeing one of the greatest railroad sites in Colorado.
Let your kids join other kids in the fun at this exciting outdoor adventure camp located in Winter Park Resort. The program offers positive experiences for kids that encourage them to be outdoors even more! Some activities include forest adventures, wildlife observing and survival skill lessons.
The Grand Lake Nordic Center offers snowshoe and ski runs with breathtaking views of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapaho National Forest. There is also a kid’s tubing hill, a dog loop, a free kids program and a winter soup kitchen at the Lodge.
Experience Winter Park’s only shopping center and outdoor dining venue in this friendly mountain town known as Cooper Creek Square, located just a couple blocks from the Best Western Alpenglo Lodge.
